This online warm-up match aims to help Ding Liren and Wang Hao prepare for the 2020 World Champion candidate competition held in Yekaterinburg, Russia in mid-March. For the first time, two Chinese players participated in this competition, the two will compete with six other players to challenge Carlson, the current world chess king.

This warm-up match is a double-cycle super-fast chess game. Ding Liren, Xiong Yitao, Lu Shanglei and Zhang Pengxiang participated in the group A competition which ended on the 22nd. Ding Liren won the championship by relying on the direct Victory relationship under the same points.

The Group B competition on the 23rd was played by Wang Hao, Wei Yi, Xu Xiangyu and Lei Ting. In the competition, Wei Yi won the championship with an unbeaten record of 3 wins and 3 wins. Xu Xiangyu ranked second in the second place by one point.

Wang Hao, who participated in this competition in Japan, was at a disadvantage in time due to network reasons, and finally won the third place in this group.
