Peng Cheng/Jin Yang also played a stable role and won the runner-up.
In the two-person short program competition held on the 6th, Sui Wenjing/Han Cong, who had won the crown of the Four Continents Championship five times, made mistakes in beating, finally, it ranked third with 73.17 points. On the free slide, the two showed strong strength, with a full set of actions flowing with clouds and high quality, ranking first with 144.34 points. In the end, they scored 217.51 points in the total score of the two programs and successfully won the championship.
Another group of Chinese players Peng Cheng/Jin Yang also performed well. Double free skating refreshed the best results of the two seasons with 137.33 points, and the total score of the short program was 213.29 points, ranking second.
The women’s singles project also came to an end. Japanese star Ji Ping Pear Flower won 151.16 points in the free skating contest, and the two programs scored 232.34 points in total, successfully defending. Chinese players Chen Hongyi and Zhu Yi respectively ranked 11th and 13th with a total score of 167.26 points and 155.41 points in the two programs.
The Four Continents Championship is held once a year and is one of the top events of the International Federation of skating. A total of 100 players from 12 international skating federation member associations participated in the tournament, which lasted from February 6 to February 9.
