At the end of February, on the basis of fully considering the holiday arrangements of college students from various countries and the schedule of relevant important international events, the organizing committee of the 31st World University Summer Games in 2021and the International University Sports Federation negotiated and confirmed that, it was decided to postpone the holding date for 8 days, that is, the opening on August 16.
The International University Sports Federation said that the organizing committee should propose to adjust the holding time of the World University games again.
