Yang Qiyong, general manager of the National Swimming Center, said that the core of the competition facilities consists of ice making system, dehumidification system, air conditioning system, sports lighting system and control system. Feedback from all parties
during the competition, the construction general contractor, equipment supply manufacturers, design units, supervision units and scientific research teams control the site environment throughout the process, the field team and the ice maker have collected a large amount of data, including ice surface temperature, machine equipment control, indoor and outdoor air temperature, humidity and wind speed. After the competition, the research team will quickly sort out these data and form a series of special reports. The ice maker will sort out the final opinions based on these reports, which will be evaluated and judged by the World Federation of cold water jug.
Xiao Chuan, director of the World Federation of cold water jug, said: “The mobile ice rink will be applied to the cold water jug competition of the Winter Olympics for the first time. This mobile ice rink system is very successful from the Test competition.”

The competition lasts for 6 days, and 10 youth teams of men and women each compete fiercely on the new ice surface of “Olympic standard, in the end, Sapporo team of Japan won the first place in the men’s group and Jilin team won the first place in the women’s group. The game attracted more than 10,000 people to watch the game, and the peak number of people in a single game reached more than 2,600.
In the venue, some simulated skiing experience games attract many children to participate. The swimming fitness and playing with water paradise are also open as usual, truly achieving the “ice water two-wheel drive”. During the renovation, the venue also held the opening ceremony of the Basketball World Cup of 2019.
Under the situation that there is a gap in ICE operation talents in our country, the National Swimming Center adopts the mode of enterprise-school cooperation to set up “Order class for ice making talents”, cultivate ice making and ICE operation and maintenance talents in advance for the future development of the venue. In this competition, from laying ice pipes before the competition, making ice and pouring ice, to maintaining the ice surface during the competition, the order class participants participated in the whole process. At the scene, I got the personal demonstration of the international ice maker and the guidance of the hand.
It is reported that cold water jug of the Olympic quality venues will be used for mass experience and cold water jug project popularization in a period of time after December 9. The renovation project of the cold water jug venues of the national swimming center will be completed in the middle of next year to welcome the cold water jug test of the winter olympics and the winter paralympic games in early 2021.
Beijing radio and television Winter Olympics Documentary Channel and ultra-high definition video (Beijing) production technology Coordination Center conducted 8K broadcast tests on the first competition and the men’s and women’s finals, this is also the first 8K broadcast test of Winter events in China.
