Xinhua News Agency, Harbin, January 11 (reporter Wang Junbao) on January 11, the 2020 China Qiqihar “ice hockey festival” Hecheng International Ice Hockey Invitational tournament kicked off at the Black Dragon Stadium in Qiqihar. In the adult group A competition after the opening ceremony, the black dragon Eagles defeated the Russian Wolfram Alpha Team 7:0.
As an event dominated by clubs and amateur teams, the team formation forms of this international ice hockey Invitational tournament are various. There are no shortage of on-the-job ice hockey coaches in the Black Dragon Eagles. Although the age structure of the players is relatively large, however, the overall technical and tactical level is still very high.
The Invitational tournament will last until the 23rd, with a total of more than 300 hockey matches.
This competition attracted 114 teams from China, Russia and South Korea. The competition was divided into amateur adult groups and U6, U8, U10, U12 and U14 groups.
Qiqihar is one of the cities that started ice sports earlier in our country. Since the team was established in 1954, Qiqihar ice hockey team has won more than 30 national championships and league championships and 4 National Winter Games championships, 13 coaches and over 500 athletes were sent to the national team.
In 2017, Qiqihar city set up “Ice Hockey Festival”. In 2015, the Asian Ice Federation awarded Qiqihar the honorary title of “Asia’s best ice hockey city”. At present, Qiqihar has held 6 consecutive ice hockey season Series events.
