Fang Ya, the chairman of the association, who has led the Modern Pentathlon Association to continuously deepen the substantive reform in the past two years, first reported the work of the Association to the delegates and looked forward to the future development, it also analyzes the promotion of modern pentathlon in China.
When referring to the project development mission, she said that the Modern Pentathlon Association will focus on the strategic goal of building a strong sports country and take scientific and sustainable development as the leader to create a first-class sports team and realize a new image, new Dream, comprehensively enhance the value of sports, continue to improve the comprehensive strength and international competitiveness of China’s modern pentathlon, and take “achieving new breakthroughs and forging new glories” as its own duty in the Tokyo Olympic Games, make due contributions to our country’s progress from a sports power to a sports power.

During the change of the association, Fang Ya, secretary general of the International Modern Pentathlon Alliance, was re-elected as the chairman of the Association, Zhang Bin, director of the national team security department of the sword center, and Liu Haiyang, chairman of Beijing nuoyiteng Technology Co., Ltd, zhang Hongling, secretary of the Party committee of Shaanxi Competitive Sports Management Center, Yang Hai, member of the party group of Guangdong Sports Bureau, Qiao Yunping, deputy director of Shandong Sports Bureau, is the vice chairman of the association, and Shen Kejian, coach of Shanghai competitive sports training center, is the secretary general. Xu Haifeng, the first Olympic gold medalist in China, served as the honorary chairman of the association.
