Xinhua News Agency, Tokyo, January 10 (Reporter Prince Jiang) Japanese media reported a few days ago that Japanese police would set up surveillance systems for unmanned aerial vehicles around all Tokyo Olympic venues, in order to ensure that suspicious unmanned aerial vehicles can be locked as soon as possible during the Olympics to prevent possible terrorist attacks.
According to the Daily News, the monitoring system to be built can lock the position and height of the UAV as soon as possible after capturing the signal sent by the UAV, the police used the existing technology to capture suspicious unmanned aerial vehicles.
It has been reported before that there are mainly two tactics for the police to deal with unmanned aerial vehicles: first, send their own unmanned aerial vehicles and send out interception networks to capture them after approaching suspicious winged creatures; Second, blocking the signal between suspicious Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Remote controllers directly paralyzes suspicious winged creatures.
It is reported that similar monitoring systems have been controlled near some important buildings including palaces and airports, and will be built around all Olympic venues next. With these monitoring devices, unmanned aerial vehicles will have no place to hide within a radius of hundreds of meters of Olympic venues.
On last May, Japan amended the unmanned aerial vehicle control law to prohibit unmanned aerial vehicles from flying near all 24 Olympic venues. Once the winged creatures of illegal invasion is found, the police can take measures to intercept it.
